We were enthusiastically met by Amber's parents & sister, who were all thrilled to see us both. They quickly rushed us back to the family home for champagne & croissants with cheese & Ham & a good chin-wag.
We had a great giggle (mainly at Louise's expense) & just generally chilled out.
Louise then made us a lovely meal using a local New Zealand fish called Terakhi, with a potato & pesto crust. We then headed round the corner from Amber's Mum's house in Beachhaven to the mud flats.... stunning views over whenuapai airfield.
We crashed out very early on in the evening as we were shattered from jet-lag.
